Frequently Asked Questions

How many guests does the Ocean Spray carry?
A maximum of 16 guests in 9 staterooms, served by a crew of 11 plus a certified bilingual naturalist guide.
Does every cabin have a private balcony?
Yes. All eight double staterooms have a private balcony, individual climate control, an ensuite bathroom and panoramic views.
Is the Ocean Spray a good choice if I get seasick?
It is one of the best. As a twin-hull catamaran it sits flatter and rolls far less than a single-hull yacht, so it is noticeably more stable on crossings between islands.
What activities are included on board?
Snorkeling (gear provided), transparent sea kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, dinghy and panga rides, and guided nature hikes — all led by a National Park naturalist. Scuba diving is not offered.
What wildlife will I see?
Itineraries are designed around the Galápagos “Big 15”, including giant tortoises, marine iguanas, blue-footed boobies, penguins, sea lions and the seasonal waved albatross, plus sea turtles, rays and dolphins.
What is included in the price?
All accommodation, meals, snacks, soft drinks, guided excursions, the naturalist guide, snorkeling and water-sports gear, airport assistance and onboard Wi-Fi.
What is not included?
Flights to and from the Galápagos, the National Park entrance fee (US$200) and Transit Control Card (US$20), alcoholic drinks, travel insurance and gratuities.
How long are the itineraries?
The Ocean Spray offers 4, 5, 6 and 8-day itineraries across the eastern and western Galápagos; longer routes reach remote islands such as Fernandina, Isabela and Genovesa.
How much is the deposit?
A 30% deposit secures your booking, with the balance due before departure. Exact cancellation terms depend on your departure date — just ask us for your dates.
